| Bihar government would soon start a  project of identifying freedom fighters’ role in 1857 mutiny and in subsequent movement  for independence. This disclosure was made by the chief minister in a book  release function at Patna  on last Sunday. 
  The occasion of the release of the research based book ‘1857:  Bihar- Jharkand Mein Mahayudha’ was attended by a large gathering of social  activists, journalists and students. This book has been co-authored by a senior  journalist, Srikant and Prasanna Kumar Chaudhary.     Famous journalist, Prabhas Joshi while releasing the book  said that the book would make the younger generation aware of the struggle for India’s  independence and Bhar’s contribution to it.   While appreciating the book, the Chief Minister said that the  gigantic work of documentation could have had been done at least fifty years ago  but even late this pioneer work has to document the contributions of many  unsung heroes from Bihar. He further announced in the meeting that the archives  of Bihar Govt. would be equipped with modern technology and details of freedom  fighters would be collected from every district of Bihar.
