Patna, (Bihar Times): Chargesheets were submitted
    against 12 government officials for tampering with the
    recommendations made by the Bihar   Public Service
    Commission for appointment of deputy collectors.
    
    The   Vigilance Bureau, in the chargesheet, filed in the
    court of special vigilance   judge accused the officials
    of indulging in gross irregularities, tampering   with
    documents, fraud and corruption.
    
    The name of those chargesheeted   are: Rajeshwar Kumar
    Sharma, accounts clerk in the office of   director,
    social security, Anirudh Prasad Mandal, labour
    enforcement   officer, Dinesh Kumar, assistant teacher,
    Ajay Kumar, revenue employee,   Nawada, Thakur Ramashish
    Prasad, clerk, Patna, Kalanand Singh, assistant in   the
    state animal husbandry department, Vijay Kumar,
    assistant in the   revenue and land reforms departments,
    Mohan Jha, constable in the state   wireless department,
    Awadesh Kumar Singh, constable, special   branch,
    Shyamanand Singh, Prem Shankar Yadav, (both clerks)
    and Ranjit   Kumar Sinha, assistant.
    
    Chargesheet had already been submitted   against
    chairman of the BPSC, Dr Ram Singhasan Singh, former
    chairperson,   Razia Tabassum, former members Deonandan
    Sharma and Dr Shiv Balak Chaudhary,   deputy secretary,
    Syed Masoom Ali assistant secretary, Tej Narain   Singh. Action has been iniitated against two middlemen.
