Should Mr. Modi decide to sue, he would be confronted with proving the negligence of the Airline. Are there rules that govern the conduct of the Driver of the bus? What are the responsibilities of the passengers? In most cases, governing rules mandate  passengers to wear seat bests while on board. Was Mr. Modi wearing his seat belt? What was the reason for the driver to come to the sudden stop that caused the accident. If the mitigating circumstances were to    avoid a bigger collision, the driver could be absolved from wrongdoing.
If Mr. Modi's injury was superfluous, he should avoid filling the law suite for monetary damages. Instead, he should ask the airlines to establish safety rules for all traveling  passengers. Perhaps he could use the prestige of his good offices to set the safety standards for  a greater good.     |
