Patna, (Bihar Times): Chief minister Nitish Kumar on Monday rejected the demand for the CBI probe into the murder of the additional public prosecutor of Begusarai, Ram Naresh Sharma, on the eve of Diwali. Both the Union railway minister, Lalu Yadav, and the fertilizer minister, Ram Bilas Paswan, made this demand. It needs to be mentioned that the police have made the Lok Janshakti Party MP, Suraj Bhan, as the accused in this case.

Talking to newsmen after the Janata Darbar Nitish said that the CBI probe is ordered in only those cases where the impartiality of the investigation is under doubt.

The chief minister also flayed, Lalu Yadav, for targeting the controversial MLA, Anant Singh, whose name was dragged by the media after the recovery of the body of a woman.
