Patna (Bihar Times) Lakshmi Sahu, socialist leader and close aide of former Chief Minister Karpoori Thakur died in New Delhi on Tuesday after a prolong illness.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in his condolence message described him a committed socialist leader and ardent follower of JP and Karpoori Thakur.He was born in Manjhaul in Begusarai and was elected MLA in 1995 from Cheria Bariarpur cosnstituency on Samata Party ticket.
