Patna, (Bihar Times): The national president of the Confederation of Indian Industry, Sunil Mittal, is to visit Patna on Monday. Inter alia he will discuss the CII’s role in the growth and development of the state’s industries.

Mittal is not coming at the invitation of the state government but will be here at the initiative of the Bihar Chapter of the CII. However, he would hold discussion with the members of the Bihar Chapter and state government officials, who have been invited by the CII.

Mittal, managing director of the telecom firm, Bharti Airtel, visited Patna last year in his personal capacity. He then met the chief minister, Nitish Kumar, and expressed his company’s willingness to invest in the agro-based industry.
