| Patna, (Bihar
Times): The new DIG of Tirhut division, Arvind Pandey, has directed the SPs concerned
to accept public complaints through e-mails as an FIR. This has made the lodging
of an FIR much easier in all the four districts of Tirhut division comprising
Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, Sitamarhi and Sheohar. Pandey,
who recently succeeded Gupteshwar Pandey as the DIG, said that this facility has
been extended to people
in view of the problems faced by them at various police stations in lodging FIRs.
The e-mail addresses of the four SPs have been given to
the media with a request to make them public. Comment Comments... It’s a great News for all of us and the government should appreciate these innovative and supportive steps taken by police officers. Sidharth.Vats@alcatel-lucent.com ------------------------------------------------------- It
