Patna, (Bihar Times): The Lok
Janshakti Party on Sunday threatened that its workers would demolish all the stalls
and barricades being built for the proposed Patna Book Fair as it has got Gandhi
Maidan booked for its November 28 Sankalp Rally two months in advance. It asked
the district administration to get removed all the enclosures within 24 hours.

 Giving this information to
mediapersons the party's spokesman, Sanjay Singh, and state convenor, Pashupati
Kumar Paras, accused the district administration of allotting the north-east part
of Gandhi Maidan for
Book Fair though they were fully aware that lakhs of people would assemble at
the spot. They also charged that the organizers of the Book Fair are in league
with the district administration and are setting up stalls on the land beyond
the allotted portion.

Meanwhile, sources close to organizers told BiharTimes
that the land for the Book Fair had been booked a year ago and that they had not
constructed any barricade or stall outside their allotted land. “What to
speak of exceeding from the allotted land we have not yet fully utilized the area
given to us because till Sunday it was under the use of Ram Katha being organized
by Sudarshanji Maharaj of Patna Central School. If the LJP has any dispute it
can be with the industrial fair which is to start from December 6,” he said.
