Lalu’s son, police official exchange hot talks

Patna, (Bihar Times): The son of railway minister, Lalu Yadav, and former chief minister, Rabri Devi, on Monday had a heated exchange with the security personnel posted in the vicinity of the chief minister’s 1-A Anne Marg residence. One report even said that a policeman even slapped Tej Pratap while other said that it was the latter who abused and threatened the cop when his car was stopped.

It needs to be mentioned that every Monday traffic had to be diverted in the vicinity of CM’s residence because of the Janata Ke Darbar Mein Mukhiya Mantri programme. The residence of former chief minister, Rabri Devi, is on 10-Circular Road, therefore, she and her family members too had to face the problem.

It all started when the car in which Tej Pratap was returning from his school, Kendriya Vidyalaya (Bailey Road) was stopped for checking at the B P Mandal roundabout near the chief minister’s residence.

Inspector Deepak Kumar conceded that he did not recognize Tej Pratap as the vehicle did not have beacon light fitted over-head. He said that he only requested Tej that he was here to inspect the car, upon which he became angry.

The police official said that later Rabri Devi too came to him and scolded him. Tej said that the policeman misbehaved with him.
