LJP MP Suraj Bhan named accused in PP murder case

Patna, (Bihar Times): As the nation celebrates Diwali, for the family members of the slain special public prosecutor Ram Naresh Sharma, the light has gone. The town itself observed dark Diwali with lawyers protesting against his murder on the eve of the auspicious festival.

Meanwhile, the Lok Janshakti Party member of Parliament, Suraj Bhan, on Friday was named accused in the murder case. The two-member high-level team will be reaching Begusarai to probe this sensational murder. Suraj Bhan, once a close associate of chief minister Nitish Kumar, was also accused in Rami Singh murder case.

The LJP MP, on the other, strongly refuted that he was any way involved in the murder of the lawyer. He said that there was a big conspiracy and the government, if it wishes so, could reach to the bottom of the fact within three hours.

The railway minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal chief, Lalu Prasad Yadav, sought a CBI inquiry into the matter. However, the LJP president, Ram Bilas Paswan, is yet to open his mouth on the issue.
