|            | Patna, (Bihar Times): The ban imposed by the Bihar
Jharkhand Motion Pictures Association on films having
Mithun Chakravorty as a hero started having its impact
on these two states. His latest film, My Name Is
Anthony Gonzalves, released on Friday all over the
country could not be screened anywhere in these two
    states.
It needs to be mentioned that the BJMPA imposed ban on
films starring Ravi Kishan and Mithun in protest
against their stand on the Bhojpuri film industry. The
BJMPA leader Dr Sunil Kumar, who is also the Janata
Dal (United) MLA, even had a war of words with the BJP
MP and cinestar, Shatrughan Sinha, on the issue.

The Mumbai-based Association of Motion Pictures and TV
Programme Producers (AMPTPP) also warned the Bihar and
    Jharkhand Motion Pictures Association’s executive
committee member, Dr Sunil Kumar, to mend his ways
otherwise no Hindi film will be released in Bihar and
    Jharkhand.
