Patna, (Bihar Times): Rain and sudden drop in temperature have badly affected the normal life in Patna and several other districts of the state. While Kankarbagh locality went without power for hours, air service was thrown out of gear with eight flights cancelled on Wednesday. The up and down flights of Air Deccan, Jet Lite, Jet Airline and Air India for Patna were cancelled on Wednesday.

There was low attendance at schools and roads had much less traffic on Wednesday and Thursday. The winter rain is good for wheat and other crops.
