Patna, (Bihar Times): The   first batch of Chandragupta
   Institute of Management, the state   government's
   B-school to be opened on the pattern of IIM, is to
   start   classes from the next academic session.
   
   This business school will also   have centres of
   research focussing on the development issues of   Bihar.
   Application forms for admission test will be available
   from   February 11 and the last date will be March 30.
   The candidates would be   selected on the scores of CAT
   and GMAT. It will be an autonomous body and   will for
   the first few years function from the Hindi Bhawan,
   beside the   AIR station. At present the director's
   office is situated in A N Sinha   Institute of Social
   Studies. Hunt is on to induct reputed   management
   teachers from all over the country and even abroad.
   Mukund Das,   a management guru of Kerala, has been made
   as its first   director.
   
   Fifty per cent of the seats would be reserved for   the
   students of Bihar while there will be 15 quota for SC,
   ST and 27 for   the backward castes.
