| | Patna, (Bihar Times): Two reputed doctors of Patna: Dr S
N Arya and Dr Indu Bhushan Sinha, got Padma Shri award
this year. Dr Sinha is a former professor of medicine
and head of nephrology in PMCH. He has been awarded
for his contribution in the field of nephrology.
Dr Arya, an eminent physician and cardiologist, did
his MRCP in neurology from United Kingdom. He worked
in the Patna Medical College Hospital as a general
physician. He once chanced his hands in politics and
unsuccessfully contested from Patna parliamentary seat
on the BJP ticket in early 1990s.
