No arrest in the NMCH girls’ hostel ransacking case

 

Patna, (Bihar Times): No student has so far been arrested in the case related to the ransacking of the girls hostel of the Nalanda Medical College Hospital on New Year’s Eve. The girls on Wednesday called on the principal of the college, Dr C B Chaudhary, and sought protection from the college authorities. Not only was the hostel ransacked even attempt was made to molest some girls.

The principal assured them of the proper security arrangement and said that action would be taken against all the students involved in the incident. It needs to be mentioned that about 15 drunker students broke the lock of the hostel and smashed the window panes and furniture. They even burnt the clothes of the girl students.

Till now the police have not taken any action against the culprits nor has any senior official spoken on the issue.
