NMCH girls accuse authorities, are living under threat

 

Patna, (Bihar Times): Girl students of Nalanda Medical College Hospital has accused the college authorities of adopting callous attitude towards the incident involving the ransacking of their hostel and attempt to molest them.

They also charged that the college authorities instead of taking any action aganst the boys accused of creating trouble on the New Year’s are blaming the girls for provoking the boys to indulge in these unlawful acts. “We are being told to have our own private security,” the traumatized girls told newsmen as till now no arrest has been made in this regard. The girls also said that the New Year’s incident was not the first of its kind yet neither the college authorities nor the state government had taken any action.

The girls, who wished not to be quoted, also said that they have been living under threat from the boys ever since that incident took place.
