Patna, (Bihar Times): After the BJP it is the turn of
the Janata Dal (United) to face crisis-like situation
following the first ever cabinet expansion by the
chief minister, Nitish Kumar.Monazir Hassan, till last week the Building Construction Minister of Bihar, resigned from the post of the state Janata Dal (United) vice-president on Thursday.
Surprisingly he cited the plight and deplorable condition of the Muslims as the reason for his resignation. He said that no government had ever taken any step for the uplift of the community.
Monazir, who hails from Munger, also served in the Rabri cabinet before switching over to the Janata Dal (United). Till recently he was considered to be in the good book of Nitish Kumar.
