Patna, (Bihar Times): Yet another experiment with
education failed. The state government on Saturday
announced that it would allow the colleges of all the
Universities, other than the Patna University, to
continue with the Intermediate classes as
infrastructure for the Plus-II schools has not been
    developed.
The outgoing minister of human resources development,
Brishen Patel, last year announced the delinking of
Inter classes from the colleges of the state from the
academic year 2008. Patna University, however, had in
2007 already delinked the intermediate classes from
    the colleges.

Now with crores of rupees spent to develop
infrastructure for the Plus-II schools failing to
    yield any result
compelled to continue with the Inter education in the
colleges because most of the upgraded schools have
failed to equipped themselves with the necessary
infrastructure. It needs to be mentioned that last
year the state government sanctioned crores of rupees
to develop infrastructure in the upgraded schools.
