Patna, (Bihar Times): Chief minister Nitish Kumar on
Monday refused to comment on the charges levelled
against him by the former Building Construction
Minister, Monazir Hasan. He just counselled him to‘reconcile’ to the fact and avoid giving statements.
Nitish finds nothing new in such allegations and said
that in politics such things do happen both at the
central and state level.

On Sunday the sacked Building Construction Minister
directly attacked the chief minister. He charged him
with using the Janata Dal (United) MLA from Khagaria,
Poonam Yadav, to attack the axed ministers. Yadav, a
couple of days back, defended Nitish by stating that
all the ministers dropped by him were corrupt.

Monazir, on the other hand, called for the resignation
of the chief minister and all the ministers and
demanded CBI probe into the asset of Nitish Kumar and
his cabinet colleagues. He said that the chief
minister was using Poonam Yadav to silence all the
recently dismissed ministers and claimed that he had
never yielded to any such backmailing tactic. All the
ten dropped ministers have become victims of a larger
conspiracy, he added.
