Patna, (Bihar Times): The former police bodyguard of a
Congress MLA charged her with sexual
exploitation.
Baleshwar Sharma alias Lali, a married man with
two children, has accused Congress MLA from Korha in
Katihar district
Sunita Devi of having sexually exploited him when he
was posted as her bodyguard after the 2005 assembly
election. But the MLA denied the charge dubbing it as
blackmail. She said that she would be filing a case
under Harijan Atrocities Act against the bodyguard.
Lali is a resident of Paraura village in Bhojpur
district. On Tuesday he said that the exploitation
began in 2006 when one night Sunita, quite
unexpectedly, embraced him as he was sleeping in her
flat. The constable claimed he had protested but had
to yield for fear of losing the job.
Lali was later posted as bodyguard of Katihar MLA
Tarkishore Prasad. However, now he is at the Bihar
State Electricity Board (BSEB) office in Patna.
According to him Sunita demanded that he have sex with
her even when he was not assigned to her security.
