Patna, (Bihar Times): The question asked in the Hindi
paper in the recently concluded matriculation
examination conducted by the Bihar School Examination
Board (BSEB) had its reverberations in the Bihar
legislative council on Wednesday because it said that
    Hindi Hinduon ki bhasha hai.
The issue was raised during Zero Hour by Prof Ram
Bachan Rai of the RJD, himself a Hindi writer. He
sought a specific reply from the government over this
objectionable portion in the Hindi question paper. He
said that the question hurts the secular sentiments of
the younger generation. Apart from that he read out
several mistakes in the Hindi the question paper. He
asked the government to identify the people involved
in the entire process of preparing the question paper
and take stern action against them.

However, the scene turned ugly when the Urban
    development minister Ashwini Chaubey, while
intervening, quoted a Supreme Court ruling and said
that Hinduism is a way of life and it had no
connection with any caste and religion.
Upon this RJD, CPI, CPM, Congress and LJP MLCs stormed
into the well of the House shouting slogans. However,
the Acting Chairman of the legislative council, Arun
Kumar, directed the government to take suitable steps
    in this regard.

Comments... The foresaid news is shocking for the rational mind , specially for
the young ones appearing at the school level examinations,if Mr
Ashwani Choubey accepts that Hindi is language for Hindus(Hindi
Hinduon ki bhasha hai) then all the Hindus all over India should read
and write Hindi, let us ask Mr Choubey himslef, was he taught the same
lesson during his school age? is it the clean governance mr Nitish
kumar was talking about? Language has no barrier Mr Choubey, don't
degrade the language by confinding it to any religion Dr Anwer Aahsan
