Patna, (Bihar Times): The nine-feet tall statue of the first Prime Minister of Mauritius and the Father of the Nation, Sir Seewoosugar Ramgoolam, to be installed at the South Gandhi Maidan end of the Exhibition Road, is to cost Rs 14 lakh. The weight of this statute is 600 kilogram.

The statue, brought from Noida on Thursday, has been kept in S K Memorial Hall. Noted sculptor, Anil Kumar Suthar, who lives in Noida, made this statue. The statue would be installed on the pedestal on February 18 and would be unveiled by his son and present PM, Navinchandra Ramgoolam, who is to visit Bihar between February 17 and 19.
