Patna, (Bihar Times): In all 1007 nureses would be appointed for the Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital, Muzaffarpur and Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital, Darbhanga. The health department on Thursday gave its approval in this regard. The break up figure is: 449 for SKMCH and 558 for DMCH.

According to reports this is in addition to 996 nurses for other medical colleges of the state, whose appointment have already been approved by the state government. Hospitals in Bihar have been facing serious shortage of nurses.

The process for the recruitment of 850 nurses for Patna Medical College and Hospital has already started.
