Patna, (Bihar Times): In another shoot-out in Patna
criminals gunned down, Reyazul Khan, in the Lotus
Apartment of Patliputra Colony on Saturday night. The
deceased is the husband of the ward councillor of
ward-34 of Bhagalpur and was living in Patna.

Eye-witnesses say two criminals fired on him from the
point-blank range as he, along with his security
guard, got down from his car to enter his flat in the
    Apartment.

War of supremacy between two rival gangs of Bhagalpur
is being held responsible for his killing. Reyazul’s
name figured in the murder of Pappu Khan in Haroon
Nagar locality of Patna about five months back. Pappu
    unsuccessfully contested 2004 parliamentary election
from Bhagalpur on the BSP ticket and later switched
over to the Rashtriya Janata Dal. As an RJD candidate
he lost the subsequent assembly election too.

After Saturday’s killing Reyazul’s son accused the
widow of Pappu of master-minding the killing of his
father. He named two shooters Tipu and Sajjad in the
FIR. The killing in the posh colony of Patna created
    panic in the area.
