Protest mars screening of Akbar Jodhaa

Patna, (Bihar Times): Activists of Jan Kalyan Kshatriya Yuva Manch, backed by the Rashtriya Swamsevak Sangh, on Sunday protested outside Ashok Cinema Hall to protest the screening of the latest release, Akbar Jodhaa.  However, the police prevented the mob from
storming into the campus.

They have decided to launch a state-wide agitation from Monday in this regard.

They dubbed the film as an insult to the sentiments of Rajputs and urged the owner of Ashok Cinema to stop screening it. Incidentally, this theatre belongs to Late Babuaji, till recently the oldest RSS man in Bihar.

The director of the cinema hall, S P N Singh, said that they would continue to screen the film. He, however, conceded that it did not evoke extra-ordinary response on day one. Those who watched the film on the first day had a mixed opinion about it.
