      | Patna, (Bihar Times): Though they claimed to be the
family members of the Mauritius Prime Minister,
Navinchandra Ramgoolam, yet they were not allowed to
meet him. The reason is best known to the Bihar or
    Mauritius government.
 | | A large number of villagers of Harigaon, the village
from where Navinchandra’s ancestors went to that
island nation, assembled in a festive mood to greet
him. They were present there with gifts for husband
and wife and prepared delicious local dish to offer
them. But what dismayed them was that they were not
allowed to meet the honoured guests.
A fourth generation relative of the prime minister
told newsmen that they collected money from among
themselves and were sad because they had been waiting
for this day to come since long. They bought pagdi,
shawl, dhoti and kurta for the prime minister and two
Banarasi sarees and bangles for his wife, Veena,
    Veena.

Ran Vijay Singh, one of them, said that they would
visit Mauritius to invite him once again to the
village ask him as to why he did not meet them.
