Patna, (Bihar Times): Within 48 hours of the killing of Shanti Kumari, a girl by dacoits, another murder shook Danapur sub-division of Patna district. However, police suspect the role of the domestic help in this incident. Ajay Kumar Sinha, a neuro-surgeon, was killed at his residence in Danapur on Monday night.
According to the police his domestic help, Mantu, is absconding. Police suspect his involvement because he was the lone person, apart from the family member, who has access to the bed-room of the doctor. He started working in Dr Sinha’s house only two months back. The doctor’s wife. Dr Sujata, is employed in the railways.

Crimes in the high-profile locality of Patna have also witnessed a sharp increase recently. Only on the wee hours of Sunday dacoits managed to broke into the house of the Congres legislative party leader, Dr Ashok Kumar, and snatched a goal chain from the neck of his mother, Chinta Devi. Chinta is the wife of former Union minister, Baleshwar Ram. The dacoity in the VVIP area of Shri Krishna Puri is not the first such incident to take place in the posh colonies of Patna.

At the time of dacoity Dr Ashok Kumar was away in Cochin to attend a marriage. His security guards were sleeping on the ground floor of the house in which the family lives.
