Patna, (Bihar Times): Two prominent builders of Bihar and Jharkhand––Nutan Construction and Vasundhara Homes Pvt Ltd––fell into the Income Tax net in Patna on Wednesday.
The sleuths of the Income Tax department simultaneously raided the office and residential premises of the two firms in Delhi, Gurgaon, Patna, Ranchi and Jamshedpur and seized undisclosed assets, shares, investment documents etc worth crores of rupees from them.
The raids were conducted under the supervision of the director general Income Tax (Investigation) S d Jha. Raids were carred out at eight premises of Nutan Construction in Patna. Similarly search operations were carried out in 10 premises of the Vasundhara Homes in Delhi, Gurgaon, Patna, Ranchi and Jamshedpur.
