Patna, (Bihar Times): The Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA) has allotted 25 acres of land for setting up  multi-speciality Apollo Hospital at Bihta, about 40 km west of Patna.

Besides, the Authority allotted 12 acres of land for a solvent extraction and power plant in Augurangabad district. Some more industrial units in Patna, Barauni, Pandaul, Donar, Purnia, Maranga and Jamalpur have been allotted land.

According to reports the BIADA has allotted 278.45 lakh square feet of land to the entrepreneurs after approval of the state cabinet for constructing manufacturing units with an investment proposal of Rs 17,076 crore.
It needs to be mentioned here that only recently the Authority allotted 600 acres of land in Kahalgaon industrial area for the proposed sugar mill-cum- ethanol plant.
