Patna, (Bihar Times): A warrant of arrest has been issued against the Mayor of Muzaffarpur, Vimla Devi Tulasyan, the then municipal commissioner, Harihar Prasad Singh and two deputy mayors, K K Verma and Vishwanath Mishra following their failure to turn up in the court in connection with the case relating to the prolong water-logging in the court premises.

The warrant was issued by the first class judicial magistrate, Ram Surat, on Thursday.

Sudhir Kumar Ojha, the local lawyer, filed a petition in this regard on November 7 last. The lawyer charged that when he approached the above-mentioned to complain about the three month long water-logging in the court premises he was abused and chased away from the office by them.

The court took cognizance of the case on March 2 and issued summon on March 28. It was only when they failed to turn up that the warrant of arrest has been issued.
