Patna, July 28:The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) plans to take on the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) in the next general elections by focusing on the rising inflation, alleged failure on the internal security front and "incompetent governance".

“The BJP will make three I's - inflation, internal security and incompetence - the main issue in the next parliamentary elections to defeat the UPA,” BJP vice president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said here Sunday.

“The BJP will raise issues affecting the common man,” he said.

Naqvi was here for the BJP's nationwide week-long campaign, staring Monday, to expose the UPA government's "misdeeds".
