New Delhi, June 13: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Friday named its candidate for the forthcoming elections to the Rajya Sabha from Bihar.

"Rajiv Pratap Rudy will be our candidate for the lone seat from Bihar," said Ananth Kumar, BJP general secretary.

Rudy, who hails from Bihar and had contested unsuccesfully against Railway Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president Lalu Prasad, was tipped to get the ticket this time. He is also the party spokesperson.
