Patna, (BiharTimes): The fast track court of
Additional Sessions Judge Vijay Shankar Pathak on
Monday sentenced to life term the former Bihar Animal
and Husbandry Minister Aditya Singh and his son Suman
Singh.
The court found them guilty on Friday but announced
the quantum of punishment on Monday.
The two were held responsible for the murder of Ashok
Singh Singh, a manager of brick kiln, at Govastha
village in Nawada district on February 28, 2000, that
is, just after the assembly election. It was after
that election that Aditya Singh became the minister.
He represented Hisua assembly seat on Congress ticket
and than as Independent for six times.
Aditya Singh is already undergoing a life term. Last
year he was sentenced to life imprisonment on the
charge of murdering Lallah Singh, a mukhiya of
Sakarpur panchayat under Akbarpur police station of
Nawada district.
