Patna, (Bihar Times): A Business Process Outsourcing
(BPO) unit has come up in the heartland of Mandal
Mishra’s Mithilanchal. Set in Saurath village, known
more for the marriage fair, this BPO in the obscure
part of Bihar’s Madhubani district will go a long way
to empower the local population. Besides, it may check
the flow of skilled hands outside the state.
Incidentally the said BPO has Hindi speakers as
employees though they are catching up English fast.
According to Kamlesh Kumar, the manager of Drishti
Business Process Outsourcing unit the need is to stop
the problem of brain drain and migration. He claimed
that this is the first rural BPO of its kind in India
