Patna, (Bihar Times): The state government on Sunday replaced the principal of the Patna Medical College Hospital, Dr R K P Singh, with the principal of the Nalanda Medical College Hospital, Dr C B Chaudhary. Dr Chaudhary will be on the dual charge. In a related developement it also suspended six junior doctors and X-ray technician, Sudhir Sharma. However, even four days after the incident the police are yet to make any arrest.




Meanwhile, doctors of Darbhanga Medical College Hospital and Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College Hospital also went on indefinite strike in support of the PMCH doctors.

The police are now planning to attach the property of the absconding doctors. According to the superintendent of police, Anwar Husain, the police have procured their permanent address from the College and raiding party is being sent to their homes.
