Patna, (Bihar Times): A team of Planning Commission led
by B K Chatrurvedi,   praised the state government’s
efforts to give 50 per cent reservation to   women in
rural and urban local bodies. Besides, it appreciated
the work   done in the field of health and education.
However, it expressed concern over   the very low per
capita income in the state and suggested that
government   and private sector should work in tandem to

 The team   highlighted the government’s effort in the
    direction of agriculture and   sericulture too, in
    particular the launching of Agriculture   Roadmap.
 
 The team held a meeting with the chief minister,
    Nitish   Kumar, in Patna on Friday.
