Hands chopped off for being a Bihari

Patna, (Bihar Times): The world came crashing down for Shri Kishun Singh of Dudha village under Raghunathpur police station of Siwan district late last month. Both his hands were chopped off by the frenzied mob of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena activists in Pune.

According to reports Singh, who had been selling bhujja (a sort of mixture) for the last ten years, was
attacked by some Sena supporters while he was asleep on the pavement, his permanent dwelling. He was brutally thrashed and felt unconscious. When he gained conscious the following day he found himself in a hospital with both the hands amputated.

The attack had a devastating impact on his mind and he shivers on seeing any strange person. As a bread-winner he was a ray of hope for the family. Now back in home everything seems dark around him as humanity, in the name of regionalism, reached its lowest point. He is just waiting for wounds getting healed up in Siwan hospital. But the wound in the heart is not going to be healed for ever.
