Narendra Modi, Advani to be in Patna on Sunday to pay condolence to Kailashpati Mishra

Patna,(BiharTimes): At the time when Nitish Kumar and other Janata Dal (United) leaders would be addressing Adhikar Rally on Sunday afternoon the Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi and top BJP leaders, such as Lal Krishna Advani, Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley and Anant Kumar would be in Patna to pay condolence to the senior BJP leader and former Vice President of the party, Kailashpati Mishra.

Narendra Modi would be arriving in Patna at 3:15 PM and will drive straight to late Mishra’s residence. He would be in Patna for an hour. Though Kailashpati Mishra died early on Saturday morning after prolonged illness his funeral is likely to take place late on Sunday afternoon.

The arrival of the BJP bigwigs would further increase the pressure on the police. The threat of para-teachers to disturb the Janata Dal (United)’s Adhikar Rally has already complicated the matter. Only late on Friday night police lathicharged the teachers in Patna.

Political observers are surprised over the BJP’s decision to cremate Mishra on Sunday afternoon itself. The whole programme could have been adjusted by a few hours, they asked.

The arrival of the senior BJP leaders, particularly Narendra Modi, at the same time would certainly divide the media’s attention from the Adhikar Rally.
