Sindh CM receives Nitish in Karachi

Patna,(BiharTimes): Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar arrived at Karachi late on Friday evening.

He was received at the airport by Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, who also presented a bouquet to the Bihar chief minister.

His ministerial colleagues, Agha Siraj Durrani, Manzoor Hussain Wasan, Muhammad Ayaz Soomro, Syed Murad Ali Shah, MNA Lal Chand, Sindh Chief Secretary Raja Muhammad Abbas, IG Sindh Police, Fayyaz Ahmed Leghari and officials of the provincial and Sindh government were also present on the occasion.

Acting High Commissioner of India at Islamabad was also present at the airport to receive them.

Nitish is heading a delegation, which includes ministers, officials and Rajya Sabha MP, N K Singh.

The two chief ministers jointly addressed the media too. The Chief Minister of Sindh said that the visit would help strengthen ties between Sindh and Bihar and promote exchange of views and expertise in a number of areas.

Responding to him Nitish expressed his happiness at visiting Pakistan and thanked his counterpart for the warm reception extended to him and his delegation.
