BJP team leaves for Gujarat

Patna,(BiharTimes): Over two dozen BJP workers from Bihar left for Gujarat on Sunday to work for the party in the Assembly election to be held in December.

Talking to reporters state party chief, Dr C P Thakur, said more workers and leaders would go there in the days to come.

However, deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi said he had not received any invitation so far for campaigning in Gujarat. He said when he would get an invitation he would definitely try to render his services to the party there depending on the engagements at home.

He, however, explained that in state Assembly elections normally local leaders, in addition to a few national level leaders, are more effective to convey party's poll issues to the voters.

Meanwhile, Ashwani Choubey and Giriraj Singh, two ministers in the Nitish cabinet, once again said they would definitely go to Gujarat.
