Bihar Assembly session ends on stormy note with opposition again raising CAG report

Patna,(BiharTimes): Rashtriya Janata Dal-led opposition MLAs on Thursday staged protest outside the state Assembly for third day in succession to protest what they alleged large scale loot going on in Bihar.

The MLAs raised slogans outside the state Assembly before the proceeding started on the concluding day of the Budget Session of the state Assembly. Referring to the CAG report the RJD MLA, Bhai Virendra, charged the state government with being involved in the scam worth Rs 18,797 crore.
Meanwhile, leader of Lok Janshakti Party, Ram Vilas Paswan, alleged that crores of rupees have been surrendered though the state government is talking of special category status. He said the growth rate is fabricated and that no development whatsoever has been made in Bihar under the Nitish Kumar government.

He said all the projects, which the Nitish government is boasting of is of the Centre and not of the state government. He alleged that large scale loot is going on in Bihar.

The former Union minister said that be it roads built under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana or National Highways all are the contributions of the Union government and the state government has nothing to highlight as achievement. He ridiculed as to how can the state government count as its achievement the works done by the Centre.
