All these rapists are from Bihar: Raj Thackeray

Patna,(BiharTimes): For the first time after the death of Bal Thackeray, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray, chose to speak out against Biharis. After calling them infiltrators last year this time he has something more serious to say.

Referring to Delhi gang-rape case he said “no one is talking about the fact that all these rapists are from Bihar.” Addressing a rally in Mumbai on Saturday, Raj Thackeray said that while everyone is discussing the Delhi gangrape incident, nobody is asking where these men came from.

Raj’s remarks had evoked strong condemnation from various political leaders of Bihar. The state’s Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Minister, Giriraj Singh, went to the extent of saying that he has lost mental balance and should be treated accordingly.

Janata Dal(United) MP Ali Anwar countered by asking as to who is responsible for so many rapes in Mumbai or Maharashtra.

Last time it was in August 2012, that while addressing a rally in Mumbai, he had threatened to force Biharis out of Maharashtra if authorities in Bihar take legal action against Mumbai policemen who picked up a teenager on charges of vandalising the martyr’s memorial during Azad Maidan protest on August 11.
He went on to call Biharis as “infiltrators”. However, ever since the death of Bal Thackeray a couple of months back both Raj and cousin Uddhav Thackeray have not been making wild statements. But it seems that the mourning period is over and Raj, at least, is at his ‘best’ once again.
