Patna,(BiharTimes): A 48-year-old lawyer, Ram Kumar Thakur, was shot dead on Saturday after he had filed a complaint with the vigilance department against a Muzaffarpur mukhiya in connection with alleged corruption in MNREGA.

According to the police the advocate, who was a member of the Bihar MNREGA Watch, a Muzaffarpur-based organisation, was shot dead at Ratnauli village under Maniari police station of the district. The police suspect the involvement of Ratnauli mukhiya Rajkumar Sahni and his son.
