Whole Kosi region should stop voting , it's useless

The flood in the kosi region is something that is happening every year since quite a few year. But this year it’s different kind of, it is a deluge. The river is trying to rewrite the whole map.  I have never seen this kind situation happening in Madhepura since last 32 years of my age. I remember being a kid we used to talk that this can happen only when Bhimnagar barrage will break. Politicians never  cared since independence about fixing this problem. There is no political will visible from any Bihar’s political party or Central government. I  think the people from 14 districts should stop voting from the next coming election till the time some major steps are visible to tackle this kind of calamity. It needs a complete planning , interest  and lots of money from central government.

For now we can just pray to Vishnu for the same miracle.

YES, the people in this region are not very conscious politically. At the time of election they forget their basic grievances and the fault of existing leader.

All in that moment, even educated people messed up in Bhai Bhatijawad and worst of all unite on the caste basis to choose the same leader.

They forget that the person whom they are going to elect, carry responsibility and they shoulb be best and honest to keep citizen interest first.

Above all if I think who is responsible for this massacre at macro level?

It is BEAUROCRACY, PROCASTRINATION and LATSAHABI style of working in Indian government houses.

Officers and leaders never take care of work of public as private albeit they know the solution of the problem. But they make it late

for self interest or unnecessarily making late just to show the 'rutwa' of his/her position to downstream.

If this task (repairing of embarkment) has been assigned to private concern then it could have been completed on time.

Because there is fear form government for payment stop.

OUR GOVERNMENT BABAU AND NETA ARE FEARLESS. NOBODY WOULD ASK WHY and WHAT.

AS PER LAW WE GOT THE RIGHT BUT IN MOST OF THE CASES IT PROVES BARK OF DOG.

BECAUSE THEY ARE ELEPHANT AND ALL OTHERS ARE DOG

We have to kill the environment of elephant and dog mutually for better tomorrow.

Its absolutely correct that there was a threat  from the Kosi river but the authorities never bothered to take it seriously. The districts of Madhepura, purnia ,araria and supaul have never been paid attention by the State as well as Central Government .Before the flood also ,there was no regular power supply ,roads were in pitty conditions ,no repair of bridges and no proper infrastructure .But the MLA's and the MP's of these areas have worked only for their personal gains. They have never thought about the society as a whole .I agree with Mr Kaushik K Singh ,that the people of these districts should stop voting ,and also should stop trusting the politicians .

Mr CM we had immense trust in you but the situation is turning the other way .Please do something before it is too late and people of Bihar start judging you in the same plateform as Laloo and Rabri regime. Please save people'slife and start the overall development at full pace .

I agree with you . Last three days we am reading , surfing and watching all these News related to flood . Its a depressing moment for all Non Resident Bihari . This is third rainy season of Sri Nitish Kumar jee as Chief Minister . Earlier the condition of state capital was worst now its entire Kosi region . We look speechless and mute spectator .

Every Non Bihari ask us about the health of Bihar . Earlier we used to blame Lalu Prasad for every bad thing and when Nitish came in power - we had have our last hope but it seems Nitish has limited himself to Nalada only .
